Nemo is doing great he is just wow that’s all I can say I can’t believe how well this has worked. No more anxiety. He is actually being and acting like a puppy.. I love it
Our beginnings, on every package you will see “In memory of Buddy 2005-2017. Buddy was a yellow lab and a family member. He suffered from many aging ailments including seizures. Despite the six incredibly expensive medications (including Diazepam and Phenobarbital) he took, he died in my arms while having a seizure. A family pet, only 11 years old, a pup that loved to swim and play football, laid lifeless having snapped his spine while seizing, while his human sister (also the same age, they grew up together) sobbed, begging him to hold on. It was that moment, we knew there had to be a better way.
Stewart, an adorable four year old Yorkie, all white and completely spoiled by his human parents, was diagnosed with stomach cancer and given three months to live. This was in November of 2017. Not only did he have tumors, he was not responding at all to the ‘pharmaceuticals that he was prescribed. His quality of life, due to the medication was pitiful. He defecated everywhere, he wouldn’t raise his head, even when his Dads came home. When hearing about how quickly this dog was giving up, our founder put her experience with Buddy, combined with the nutrition course from her Vet. Tech program at Penn Foster, used hours of research to come up with Clydes CBD Cookie. Within two weeks Stewart had begun showing minor improvements, moving around, going “out”, and even a few tail wags. Currently (May 2018) the pup that had been given only weeks to live, is now eating his regular diet, is only on one prescribed medication, and takes his treats daily. His tumor has begun to recede and no new tumors have emerged. His quality of life? Ask the 80 pound German Shepherd he steals balls and treats from! Our treats? We think so!
Nemo was a very sad case of how horrible humans can be. He was used as a bait dog and had all but given up on life. Living in the confines of his 5 foot chain he was part of a “pitbull rescue” program to end a dog fighting ring. The woman that adopted him had naively thought that “love would conquer all” well, she was right, but didn’t realize how extreme it would be. Nemo was so grateful to his Mom that the second she left the house he tore it apart looking for her. He ate couches, curtains, the door jam, the molding around the door, the rugs. That was the first day. He was so scared and anxious without her he was literally destroying her home. After a few days, she bought him a large kennel and gave him food and water, a few toys and hoped for the best. When she arrived home he had self-mutilated. He was so distraught he had aggressively tried to chew and paw his way through the metal causing lacerations all over his snout, gums and paws. It was so bad he had to be “glued” in several places. He tore his fur and skin trying to get out. His anxiety was causing her to think twice about keeping him as she feared he would be better in a different home. She came to us as a last result, and within two days we got the most amazing video. Her walking into her home after work. Nemo jumps off the couch, his tail wagging, and the home completely intact. His anxiety is completely gone. This pup forgave humans, learned to love and is now a member of a family with human and fur brothers and sisters. She can walk him without a muzzle and he gently interacts with other dogs.
Rib Eye is a senior. Approaching 11 years old, this gal had pretty much given up all of the things a high prey drive Hound dog does. He no longer cared for walks, instead he lay lazily on the steps as his Human would walk and play with the other dogs. He would pause at the ponds, almost as if he remembered the days of fetching sticks or chasing ducks. He would sadly look away when other younger pups would strut by, as if he knew his time had gone. The arthritis in his once youthful joints was causing him to prefer long naps over hunting game. A feeling a lot of us get as we get older! Her Human got teary-eyed telling us stories of how she had “hunted and played” in her hey-day, but now even getting up on the bed was a struggle. It was as if Rib Eye had given up on her body as her body was giving up on her. We gave her human a few sample treats, after a few days we got an amazing video tagging us. It was her Human trying to get her out of the pond. Her arthritis had subsided to the point where she, very youthfully, had bounded into the pond after a duck and wouldn’t stop swimming. Old Rib Eye, with her saggy eyes and goofy ears was running after pups half her age, her playful demeanor had returned “even if it was only a one time thing, I am forever grateful to you for having one last “romp” with her.” We are happy to report, she is still stubborn and swimming everyday. She even made it onto the bed this week, we were told she didn’t just “get” on the bed, she “bounded like a gazelle!”
Clydes CBD Cookies
This is our basic organic recipe. These are a lower dose and can be used for preventative measures as well as daily for an alternative treatment for seizures, anxiety, depression, aggression, in “season”, or just calming a high strung pup (think Chamomile tea for dogs!)
Arthritis and Joint Pain are a common ailment in older dogs, working dogs or athletic pups. This is a thick salve (ointment) containing CBD oil, applied directly to the area, absorbed thru the fur and epidermis and alleviates the pain within minutes.
We up the ante on these. Originally made for a friends pup suffering from Stomach Cancer (the lil’ guy is still going strong!) The CBD levels are higher, and we cater these to the pups weight as well as allergies. Isn’t it easier to give a dog a bone than force a pill down their throat?
From our kitchen to yours, these products have produced real results. Our testimonials speak for themselves.
Rib Eye was going insane at the park yesterday…playing with dogs, howling in the woods, she even leaped over a fallen tree while chasing another dog. And she’s 11 years old. The treats are really helping her and she’s super happy. Thanks again
My dog suffers from anxiety on a daily basis, gave my bischon the treats, low and behold he is a calm man once again! Slept through the night without anxiety fits. Has stopped chewing on his hot spot! And seems to have stopped barking at the mail man!!!! It’s so nice to see my happy puppy again!!! Thank you!!!
